All those numbers above are single family homes sold in 2012, January 1st - July 24th.
It def. shows that people are back in the market, also in the high end market. 112 home sales in Rancho Santa Fe in the first 6 1/2 month of this year, it will end up being a pretty good year for the most expensive area in San Diego. Also the number of sales in La Jolla with 192 is significant, La Jolla averages the same sales price as Coronado. Del Mar is doing well as well, 93 Sales and 1.7M average Sales price, those are great news for such a small community. Oceanside is leading in Sales Volume (820 Home sales) and stays the most affordable Beach town in San Diego. In comparison to all the other beach towns the best buy and perfect for first time home buyers or investors. Carlsbad, high sales Volume and the mid sales price between the high end communities and the most affordable ones. North County is staying strong, Nr. 1 and 2 in Average Sales price and Nr. 1 in Sales Volume, buyers using the market bottom to buy themselves into the luxury communities of Rancoh Santa Fe and Del Mar.
