2011-08-09 13:12:46 When Stock Market Crashes, is Real Estate a Better What is the better investment, stocks or real estate...? How Does The Stock Market Crash Affect the Real Estate Industry? At first glance the obvious answers....consumer confidence, client buying power if they hold stocks, and interest rates....I was searching for more information and found this article that I wanted to share. In some ways, with the stock market being so volatile, I think investors may be luckier buying investment properties. At least they could hold and rent them for income and when the market recovers sell for a higher price. With home prices already so low and interest rates in the 4% range, it seems like a safer long and short term investment. Thoughts?
